点评：I rented a R33 GTR from Omoshiro but it was a poor experience.
Similar to another review on here, the car was in bad shape and ruined the experience.
There were a few cosmetic issues with the car which didn’t really bother me. The drivers window mechanism was broken so the window was rattling about which was getting annoying.
Mechanically the car was very poor. Clicking CV joint, warped brakes which juddered, and a crunch in 4th gear are just some of the problems with the car.
It was also super laggy which isn’t usually the case on a stock RB26 engine. I suspect there was an issue somewhere with the turbo or elsewhere. It was almost like driving a VTEC waiting until the late revs to feel any power. I spoke to another customer who drove the white R34 and he said that was also super laggy.
If you still decide to book make sure you turn up early as the paperwork can takes a while.
I’m sure the new cars will be in good shape but the whole point of using these guys is to get the 90’s experience in these JDM classics.
Waste of money imo. I was happier in the Corolla Hybrid we used for the week. Thankfully we only booked the R33 for a day and I was happy to get out of the Skyline and back in to the Corolla!
