点评：I call myself fortunate to be able to frequent a park that gives so much beauty. Especially in the fall, winter, and early spring months, there is a lot of solitude and you can see a range of sights from the best maple viewing in the city and possibly in Mercer county to beautiful magnolia trees in their abundance.
Depending on what time of year, the wildlife may even show off for you, a fox or some of the deer who come out for a 4pm-ish feeding and witching hour. The park's paths are about 1 mile if you take the widest circumference. From spring to fall there is security, but they are mainly there to ensure that the cars are in line.
This is definitely one of the most underrated parks in Mercer County. I suppose selfishly I am grateful for that because it means there are moments when I get it to myself. Perfect peace. It is a shame however that it's quiet because of reputation that is much more a part of it's past.
