Worth doing, but you are missing out if you leave it at this

点评：In winter, this is a manageable walk that you don't need crampons for. It involves walking along a road to a very pretty Polana with Mountain huts in a clearing, with glimpses of the top of Giewont.
You can then continue through the snowy pines to a frozen waterfall.
So far, so pretty. But things really ramp up if you take the Skrzyżowanie szlaków path. Things get steeper but infinitely more magical in winter. The views are better, the snow on the trees is better, the paths are more narnia like than road like, but I would recommend crampons. I slipped and slided without them on that section. You can take the path as far as returning to Zakopane on the Dolino Bialego or, and this is when it totally tuns into a winter wonderland in February, continue on to Polana Kalatowki, a quiet walk in a winter wonderland that for me totally wins hands down over walking the road to Morskie Oko at this time of year.
