点评:Lakeside is one of the most bizarre amusement park experiences I have ever had. It is like visiting an abandoned amusement park from a different era, except it is still open. The wooden coaster hasn't operated in years due to an incident, many rides sit standing but not operating, and the employee areas look like an episode of Hoarders. One ride operator talking to another said he saw someone win something out of a crane game and it was covered in dust "because it was probably sitting in there since the 90s". You could theoretically buy individual ride tickets, but the few automated machines they have don't work. It sounds like the front gate directs people to these broken machines and the ride operators direct people to the front gate to try and buy these tickets. You are probably best off buying a wristband as a result All that being said, the collection of rides is super unique and the neon signs are gorgeous. This is still a better park than Elitch Gardens despite its rapid decline. If someone was able to fix this park up and get the wooden coaster operating, this would be a special place. As of now though, this feels like a park on the brink of death and it is unfortunate.
