点评:#1 they open in a poor neighborhood allegedly to serve those people then charge $10 a person to go swimming, when city pools charge $2. #2My elderly friend could not drive so I offered to take her there to swim. I brought a book to read while I waited on her. I was told, not only could I not sit in the swimming area to wait for her, I couldnt even sit in their LOBBY-right in front of them! to wait for her. She cancelled her membership right then she was so mad. #3 I got custody of my grandchildren all of a sudden last summer due to abuse. I signed my grand up for their summer art class but when the time came, she was just too traumatized to be in a group with strangers. I requested a refund. Was told no because they had already purchased the supplies. I explained the situation and they had not the tiniest bit of sympathy. To be fair, I have always had a good impression of Salvation Armies everywhere. Except this one. The Kroc Center is NOT the kind religous organization we all know as Salvation Army.Ray and Joan Kroc should have just donated the money to help needy people with housing or something, not this. This rec center is a joke.
