达利博物馆的点评
点评：We really expected more than a white, overlit sterile environment. The collections are spectacular, but the environment is unimaginative. Parking is $10, card only. But they are happy to accept cash in the huge donation box by the front door. Be prepared to have your bag searched (not really a big deal as the gentleman was pleasant and you never know when someone might have bad intentions) Admission is pricey. We never realized how incredibly small some of Dali’s paintings are. They are almost more impressive than the huge ones. There is a lot of security - maybe that is why the ticket price is so high. There is a cafe that we did not try and an enormous store. There are several extra experiences, all at a price. We left, not necessarily in awe of the art, but of the huge cash grab this place seems to be. We look forward to visiting the museums in Spain which look like they will have a more suitable environment.
PS - there are actually signs warning patrons of nudity. Really? Nudity in a museum? I’ve been going to museums with nudity since I was 5 years old and survived.
