点评：Soaked in bliss after the darshan of Guru Granth Sahib at Sri Harmandir Sahib, Golden Temple. I stayed at Ramada by Wyndham which is a very good property in the vicinity of the temple. Sarai bookings are available only for family but since my visit was solo so took the hotel. Also if in a group with people from different locations, the hotel is a good option. One has to go to the Mandir with covered head. You get ready made turban or scarf in the market outside Mandir. One also gets 2mtr orange cloth inside the temple where you get Prasad that can be tied as turban. Shoes and baggage counter are in every nook and corner outside the temple. Many people take dip in holy Sarovar but with head covered. You can change and keep wet clothes in baggage room which is inside the temple itself. You are not allowed to take anything inside. However until a replica of temple and kept it inside the sanctum for brief time and absorbed blessings in it. Photographs are allowed only outside the Parikrama with hands folded and standing position. Any other pose they will delete the photos. If you start Parikrama from left then you will first reach Langar hall. depending on tile of visit, Langar Prasad can be taken. There is water kept for drinking in every corner of temple. There are small Gurudwara within the temple premises as well. Then near the entrance is Akal Yakut where Guru Granth Sahib is brought to rest at night. You join queue from here. There are 2 lines. Left one takes about 1 hour from gate to sanctum while the right one takes about 20 minutes. Left line goes directly facing the GGS while the right line faces from side. Right line is like vip line and people with kids and strain. No charges for going into right line. Once you are in the main sanctum, they allow you to be around 15-20 minutes which is PURE BLISS. You can sit outside or go on the top and sit and meditate for as much time you want. Strictly no photos inside the temple. The first copy of GGS is also kept. You can drink holy water from here and also take home if required. Inside the sacrum they give a white sweet as Prasad. After full satisfaction, once you are out, they give mouth watering Karha Prasad. After having Prasad you can go to counter and donate for Karha serving as per your wish and received a cup of Karha Prasad in return. Then you continue with Parikrama and get two yellow towers where you can do small Parikrama here. First ahead there is a counter for sweet wheat powder called pini Prasad for taking and distributing to family and friends. There is a tree from where blessings can be taken and then you can complete the full Parikrama by bowing down to the Mandir. On way back you can shop for Punjabi juttis, phulkari dress alongwith dupatta and Pathani dress as well. In terms of eateries Kesar da dabba, Bhrawan da dabba and Giani ki Peda Lassi should not be missed. You get Amritsari papas and wariyaan for those who like to spice up their food. On first day I went at 3.30 pm, reached inside at 4.30 pm. Did Darshan and sat for meditation until 6 pm, Heard Hukumnama and Article followed by Kirtan until 8 pm. On the second day, went in the morning at 7.30 am and was able to reach inside few minutes before 8 am. Did Darshan and meditated inside until 9.45 am and was out by 10 am. Seva can be done anywhere just by asking volunteers, they will guide you. You can choose any Seva you want. Satnam Wahe Guru 🙏🏼
