点评：Three fellas fishing for salmon off Vancouver Island -- what could be better? Pretty much the moment the lines went in the water we were catching fish. One after the other, for six hours. Most went back in the water, of course, but we kept on fishing as long as we could and had no trouble reaching our license limit. We also had time to switch gear and go after bottom fish, like ling cod, and reeled in a few of those too. The weather was perfect, the water was calm and never a dull moment. We have skipper Mike Bellis to thank for an excellent fishing experience. His knowledge of the marine environment and his skill with the boat and the gear is top notch. He loves his job and he clearly enjoys working with people, whatever their level of experience. An excellent coach. He was really fast with the lines going in and out of the water, and the net, so not a moment was lost. This experience will no doubt be the highlight of the summer for me. If you like fishing and you're in the Qualicum/Parksville area, I would not hesitate to recommend Mike and Haida Gold Ocean Adventures. Easily 10 out of 10.
