大峡谷铁路的点评
点评：This wasn't my first time riding the Grand Canyon Railway, which is exactly why this trip was so disappointing. I've done this experience before, and it used to be genuinely fun. Unfortunately, it has changed dramatically.
For the price of these tickets, the experience simply doesn't deliver. The only entertainment during the entire two-hour ride was one gentleman walking through the train with a guitar singing a few songs. That was it. Considering how heavily this experience is marketed, I expected so much more.
One of the biggest disappointments was that the advertised train robbery never happened. It's promoted as one of the signature parts of the experience, yet there was no hold-up, no robbers, and nothing to replace it. If it's been canceled or isn't guaranteed, that should be clearly communicated before guests spend hundreds of dollars expecting the full experience.
The Grand Canyon itself is breathtaking, but the train ride added very little to our visit. Looking back, I honestly wish we had driven ourselves to the South Rim. We would have saved a substantial amount of money, traveled on our own schedule, and had a far more enjoyable day.
What makes this so frustrating is that I know how much better this experience used to be. It feels like the ticket prices have gone up while the overall experience has gone down. Sadly, I can't recommend the Grand Canyon Railway anymore. Save your money, drive yourself, and spend those extra dollars enjoying the Grand Canyon instead of paying for an experience that no longer lives up to its reputation.
