点评：I asked our guest service rep about public beaches in the area and she recommended Playa Mario, a 25 minute drive from Palmas Del Mar. the trip to get there was an adventure, up and down mountains on a single lane with
sharp ess curves. Once we hit the mountaintop, the view was breathtaking. Even more spectacular was the fact that shared the whole beach the perhaps three other couples the whole five hours we were there. Nice palm tree line for shade. We were a bit disconcerted when we saw a pack of ferrel dogs running along the beach…they were playfully charging at ducks both in and out of the water. I jumped in the car when they were getting close but they passed by without incident, even with our things sitting on the beach. Two later came back and slept within two feet of us without coming closer nor looking for pets or food. A great quiet afternoon.
