Bellingrath Gardens & Home的点评
点评：My husband and I were very disappointed. The gardens were unkempt and several water features as well as Mirror lake were filled with leaves and algae. Many plants were unlabeled. Access to the Bellingrath Home, the Asian Gardens, the Fowl River or Mirror lake were blocked off. We arrived at 4 only to find the gardens closed. The website said last tickets sold at 4 with garden closing at 5.
To purchase a ticket at Bellingrath an additional 8$ is added to the purchase price (even if you use cash)and if you order online, you were charged a fee to use the online service.
Finally, we were charged the special light show fee at 5pm even though it doesn't get dark until around 7pm. (29$) If we would have arrived earlier in the day, we would have seen all of the same decor for only 16$ . So basically we paid almost double
for the lights to be on which didn't matter because it was only 5pm and they didn't show. I wish Bellingrath could return to its former glory.
