Great views and friendly welcome at a course that will test your short game.
Sidmouth Golf Club的点评
点评：First up the views from the course and club house are great, so even if you are not having the best day on the course it makes for a pleasant walk.
The course is hilly which means a lot of shots both above and below for your feet which doesn't agree with everyone hence I can understand why some people love this course and others are not keen.
One things for sure, although it is a shorter course on the score card it is no push over and many low handicap golfers have been humbled along with many who have shot some great scores.
This is highlighted from the fact there are some very strong golfers at the club. Sidmouth has won the Devon scratch knockout (Parker Trophy) the last two years in a row and along with a variety of other individual achievements (boasting a number of county players over the years) have last years over 35's South West of England champion in their ranks.
With a variety of roll-ups and competitions and a friendly/lively bar area on competition days it's definitely one to consider either as a visitor looking for some relaxed unstuffy golf or as a member.
