点评:We spent about 45 minutes walking along the riverfront, taking photos of the sunset over the Mississippi River, the Mark Twain riverboat captain statue, and the docked riverboats; watching barges go by; and listening to the music from a Catholic church picnic in the park. Very peaceful place, multiple benches to sit on, clean and well kept, felt safe although we left before it got dark. When we went back to the parking lot we had to wait a few minutes for a train to pass by before we could cross the tracks back into the historic downtown a block away. According to the Hannibal Parks & Rec website, Nipper Park at Glascock’s Landing was extensively renovated and reopened in 2021. (Some of the reviews here seem to be for a riverboat ride that they boarded at Glascock’s Landing rather than the park itself.)
