点评:I visited this village as part of a journey to visit family history sites in Zala County. My family comes from a bit farther south, near Nagykanizsa, so technically outside of the core Göcseji area. But I still found it quite fascinating. It is a very typical Central/East European Skanzen museum with numerous farmsteads and other buildings from the area displayed in a natural setting along the Zala River. The cost was very reasonable (2000 Forint) as was an English guide book that included many of the photos and descriptions (500 Forint). I spent about 2 hours. There is a small shop in one of the historic barns with a lot of pottery at reasonable prices. You can also buy a combination ticket with the Göcseji Museum closer to downtown Zalaegerszeg, but this was not open when I visited on a Sunday morning. Very interesting place to visit.
