Ireland is marvelous; the boat was just ok

点评：Ireland itinerary was great. Loved the history, castles, monasteries, etc. Best part was visiting the pubs in the evening and finding great Irish and trad music.
As lifelong, ocean-going boat owners & cruisers, LeBoat is a bit misleading by marketing that ‘No boating experience is necessary’; I think a modicum of experience is needed at the least.
LeBoat staff pre & on-site help and assistance is excellent. They are very friendly, welcoming, professional and helpful.
The boat we had (Horizon 2/Premier) was just ok. The 2nd stateroom is not adequate for two adults - maybe two kids. No shelves, drawers or any storage in the 2nd room; just one locker. Definitely bring your own bathroom amenities as there is no hand soap, shampoo, body wash, etc.
Bring appropriate clothing - we had cold, windy, rainy weather every day from May 28-June 7 (9-13 C each day). In spite of the weather we still had a marvelous, fun time.
Must see & do: Find trad music along the way. Visit Dromod town, Athlone Castle, Clonmacnoise, Portumna Workhouse. Pubs that had great music: JJ Hughes in Banagher, Curleys in Potumna
