A Magical Experience with Dalahestar!

点评：Meyja was a sweet and responsive horse who gave me a completely new experience in Iceland: not just a tölt, but also the skeið, or flying pace! It was totally unexpected (we were aiming for a canter), but I’m not complaining. It truly felt like flying: smooth, fast, and almost unreal. I’ve never felt anything quite like it.
My guide for the day was a young man (owner's son) who is also a riding instructor and clearly passionate about horses. He had a friendly demeanor and made me feel at ease right away. His combination of youthful confidence and the ability to teach made the ride both exciting and educational. He quickly picked up on my skill level and adjusted the experience accordingly. I felt safe, supported, and like I could really grow as a rider.
As an added bonus, he loved taking pictures as much as I do, so I came away with some great photos and captured memories.
Whether you're a beginner who needs a little guidance or an experienced rider looking for a bit of extra thrill and beautiful scenery, I highly recommend Dalahestar.
