READ ZONE REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING - zones 6-10 are a complete waste of time & money

My partner and I paid a lot of money for a private vehicle, £500 though Trailfinders for 2 drives, £250 each.
Our hearts sank when we were allocated a higher number zone (8) for the morning drive, we already knew from the reviews, and talking to other guests in Ranthambore, that this was a poor zone, and it was. We saw monkeys and one deer..
We advised our guide that we really wanted zones 1-5 later in the day, otherwise it was pointless going for the second one.
Unfortunately they came back and told us we had been given zone 7, with an even worse reputation than zone 8
We decided not to waste our time. We spoke to others later that day who had been to zone 7 and they said it was awful.
All the people we spoke to visiting zones 1 - 5 saw tigers… the lower zones have the watering holes. Those in zones 2 and 4 saw multiple tigers, sitting in little groups…
If you are allocated zones 6-10 you have wasted your time and money unfortunately
Zones 6-10 should come with a warning, and a much cheaper price point
