A wonderful experience but could have been better.
Ranthambore Jungle Safari的点评
点评：We went on two safaris during our stay: one in the afternoon around 2:00 PM and another in the early morning at 7:00 AM.
We booked canters for both safaris since we were a large group of 17 people. However, we were split into two canters, possibly due to late booking and not their fault. The canters were very uncomfortable, designed to seat two but practically not fitting two people comfortably.
The afternoon safari was wonderful. The guide was very nice, spoke clear Hindi, and gave us plenty of time to take pictures. He showed us various birds and animals and stopped the vehicle until everyone on the canter was satisfied. The only issue was one individual in the back who was miserable and selfish, walking down the aisle without considering others. He had to be told off a few times by us and the guide.
The morning safari was a disaster. The guide showed little interest in pointing out things and stopped the vehicle near a lake for almost 15 minutes where there was nothing to see. The temperature dropped, and standing still made it worse.
There was a lot of traffic on the safari with small jeeps constantly going up and down. Zone 3 being small, we encountered the same vehicle multiple times.
The best part was that they picked us up from the resort and dropped us off without asking for a tip
PS: we did zone 2 and Zone 3 and no luck to spot tigers. May be next time.
