We had a disappointing experience during our safari with Mr. Subodh Rajawat as our guide. Despite the fortunate sighting of a tiger, we were not given sufficient time to observe or enjoy the moment properly. The guide cited government rules as a reason for limiting our viewing time, but it felt unnecessarily rushed and poorly managed.
At the beginning of the safari, he spent a considerable amount of time pointing out common animals such as deer, monkeys, and peacocks—species we were not particularly interested in, as we had clearly expressed our priority was to track tigers. Valuable time was lost in this, which could have been better utilized by heading directly to known waterholes or tiger trails. As a result, we missed the opportunity for a more fulfilling and memorable tiger sighting. Overall, the guide's decisions and lack of responsiveness to the group's preferences led to a largely unsatisfactory experience.
I know guides are doing their jobs but customer experience is also important.
