Before I even booked the trip I spoke on the phone with Shelley from the UK who had herself summited so was very knowledgeable about the small things and no question I asked was too silly!
Once deposit paid I received several and frequent emails from kandoo about how best to prepare and what to expect once arrived in Tanzania.
Upon arriving into killimanjaro airport I was immediately greeted by a driver from kandoo who was incredibly friendly and dropped me off to our hotel promptly.
The hotel kandoo arranged was clean and had hot shower, and decent food!!
2 trips were arranged by kandoo during our free days in Moshi - which were incredible. (Waterfall, coffee plantation and tour of Moshi).
When arriving at Killimanjaro national park everything went so smoothly and each day our guides and porters worked so hard and really are the reason all 11 of us were able to summit.
A big big special mention to Deogratius , August , Happygod , Kotilibu who made this trip so fun 😊 - they spoke perfect English and were very knowledgeable, often pointing out interesting facts about the mountain, wildlife and plants. Furthermore they knew the best view spots for photographs :)
