点评:I visited here on Sat 17th June 23 and was extremely disappointed and upset by my experience.
We were taking my elderly mother in law to visit the gardens and estate house, when arriving (10 minutes before opening time) the 2 men serving were extremely rude and asked us to step outside until open. We then paid an additional £5 pp (£15 each) rather than £10 because there was an air show on- which we didn't even go to view! Nor was it within walking distance of the entrance. We then approached the house, entered and someone came in asking "what are you doing here" rather abruptly. He advised it was not open today and we should have been advised by the staff at the entrance- which we were not.
My mother in law is elderly and cannot walk far, she was visiting from South Africa and asked specifically to view Weston Park. As you can imagine we were extremely disappointed so went back to the front desk to complain, in which he responded "well what do you want me to do about it, it's not my job to tell you what is and is not open"!!! I could not believe how he spoke to us.
I emailed Weston Park to complain in which I received no response.
So we paid £45 to visit the garden for 45 minutes, in which some areas were so over grown we could not walk, and greeted appallingly by 3 members of staff.
Poor service, over priced and not worth visiting.
