点评：Still a charming fishing village but !!!!!!
1) No toilets in the harbour area other than the ones right by the harbour where a charge of 50 p was being made for a pee- really in this day and age !!!!!!. We did manage to find one by out of the harbour area but this was very small , old and in very poor condition
2) Absolutely no rubbish bins in the harbour area - does the council really want to avoid rubbish in a tourist area ??
So very disappointed with these two aspects of a short visit which was really spent looking around for a toliet and a rubbish bin.
We really used to enjoy visiting Mevagissey but could not recommend it after this visit - maybe the council does not really want tourists - having said that there is a huge amount of paid for parking so maybe the council's priority is collecting revenue for P&P ( pee and parking ) and not spending any on amenities. Very short sighted in MHO
