点评:I sent this email back in February and I STILL haven’t received a reply. After resending the email and messaging sales regarding the matter, it still hasn’t been sorted. Therefore I will post my complaint here for others to see.
Good afternoon,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to make a complaint about a recent spa day at the Clifford Health Spa.
Arrival
We arrived at the spa in good time as our treatment was booked for 9.50am. Upon arrival, the receptionist explained the order of the day and where the facilities were. We got changed and headed into the spa area. The receptionist told us to make our way to treatment area 5-10 minutes before our appointment time. We purchased robes which were more like dressing gowns. We were not asked what size we wanted and they did not fit comfortably.
Treatment
We got to the treatment reception at 9.45am and filled out our form. The receptionist told us to wait in the waiting room to be called. Despite our treatment time being 9.50am, we were not collected from the waiting room until at least 9.55am thus impacting the treatment duration which we thought would be lengthened as this was not our fault. Upon entering the room, the lady introduced us to the other masseuses that were already in there. As I walked in, I tripped on a wire which was plugged in the wall and trailed across the entrance (see picture attached). At no point, did any of the three masseuses ask if I was okay or apologise for the wire being in the way. The masseuses left the room whilst we got on the back and got ready - this preparation took at least another five minutes from when we were collected from the waiting room. The masseuses came back in to begin the massage. My mom was asked what pressure she likes but my masseuse didn't introduce herself or ask about the pressure. The massage began after 10am. Throughout the most part of the massage, there was no relaxing music played instead just the noise of my masseuse breathing heavy, sniffing and coughing due to her cold. She was cuddling a hot water bottle when we entered the room - clearly not fit to be providing a relaxing massage to someone else. Not only did we have to endure these sounds during the massage but also the loud sounds of the construction workers outside. Swearing. shouting and banging around. Eventually, one masseuse pressed play on the CD player. My sisters masseuse asked if the pressure was okay as my sister moved in pain. She explained that it was too firm and would like it lighter - this was not discussed prior to the massage beginning. A few minutes player, the masseuse covered my back with the towel which I presumed was the half way mark as we had not been massaged for a long time. To my surprise the two masseuses exited the room and my masseuse explained that the treatment was over and left us to get our things. I checked the time on my phone and was gobsmacked to find it was 10.16am. My mom, my sister and I were utterly shocked and the appaling treatment we had just received.
Afternoon Tea
We arrived in the cafe for our afternoon tea and waited behind a mom and a daughter who were also on their spa day. The waitress explained to the mom that she had prosecco included in her spa day and asked what drink her daughter wanted. After she seated them, she came back to serve us. She knew I was vegan and asked what drinks we would like. We were shocked to find out that it was only standard tea and coffee - so ordered three coffees. As I am vegan, I asked if there was any alternative milks. She explained there was oat milk which I accepted and wrote down "1 x oat milk, 2 x normal". I didn't realise having oat milk made me abnormal. She walked us upstairs and seated us. Shortly after, the waitress came over and explained they had no oat milk. I asked if I could have a soy latte instead to which she said "it's an additional charge" in a very short tone. I asked what selection of syrups they had to which she said none. I asked her to leave it then. When the afternoon tea came, once again we were shocked. My vegan afternoon tea consisted of four finger cucumber sandwiches. In a world where vegan options are now plentiful, I was shocked. I was asked upon booking if there was any dietry requirements so they had advance notice of my dietry requirement. Despite having four fingers, I could only eat three as the bread on the last one was that stale it fell apart (see attached picture). The shared afternoon tea for my mom and sister was no better either. We asked if we could purchase some crisps or chips and was disappointed to find out we couldn't even though it was a cafe? I checked my email booking to see if we were meant to receive prosecco as well. We were entitled to it but no one offered it to us. We asked the waitress and she explained we could have it in the cafe or the rainforest experience. We accepted the latter.
Rainforest Experience
When we found the rainforest expereince after it being very poorly signposted, we were received our prosecco. As my mom prefers orange juice in hers, I asked the lady if she could put a dash of orange juice in to which she arrogantly replied "I'm really not suspose to do that." No member of staff during the whole day felt accomodating or went the extra mile to make our day worth while.
General
Throughout the whole day, the staff were moody and unpleasant. No one asked how our journey was, how our day has been or to enjoy the rest of our day. Since the massage, my mom's back is hurting her due to the pressure the masseuse applied. Also, we were not able to lie down on one of the lounger due the vast amount of people in the spa. The facilities could not cope with the amount of people that were there. We cut our time short and left due to not being able to actually lie down and relax. We travelled over one hour from Wolverhampton to Clifford Health Club and Spa only to be extremely disappointed. We felt it was a waste of money, time and petrol. Unfortunately, we would not recommend the experience to anyone else.

雨林体验区路标模糊,我们找到了,然后就收到了普罗塞克起泡酒。我妈妈更喜欢在她那杯里加橙汁,所以我问那位女士能不能加一点橙汁,她傲慢地回答说:“我真不应该这么做。”一整天下来,没有一位工作人员热情周到,也没有人为我们的一天付出任何努力。
总体
一整天下来,工作人员都喜怒无常,令人不快。没有人问起我们的旅程如何,今天过得如何,也没有人问我们该如何享受剩下的时间。自从按摩之后,我妈妈的背就因为按摩师用力过猛而疼痛难忍。而且,由于水疗中心人太多,我们没法在躺椅上躺下。设施根本无法容纳那么多人。我们缩短了时间就离开了,因为根本没法躺下放松。我们从伍尔弗汉普顿到克利福德健康俱乐部及水疗中心,花了一个多小时,结果却非常失望。我们觉得这浪费了金钱、时间和汽油。很遗憾,我们不会推荐这种体验给任何人。
