点评:Big car park but it fills up quickly so better to arrive reasonably early. Now the hike: in 2019 a path with steps was put in by Sherpas which makes it straight forward and very much like Reinebringen for the first section. The steps are high and steep so a good exercise all round for the legs. There are benches on the way up and the view going up is well worth it. Then the path kind of evens up and a more gentle climb with later on a bit of scrambling and flat surface rocks (like Kjeragbolten) but no chains. It was dry when I did it so not an issue but would probably be slippery and more dangerous in the wet. The path splits to the right to slovaergeita, that mad piece of rock sticking up which you can hike with a rope. The other path goes to Djevelporten and Fløya. Djevelporten (the rock stuck between the mountain) is not particularly Duffy, less scary than Kjeragbolten as the rock is wider and only a few meters high up (Kjeragbolten is a 1000 metres above the ground). So go for it, it is not that difficult. However I would not recommend on the wet though. From there Fløya is 200 m up. I did not do it, too steep, too close to the cliff and too narrow but the views am told are incredible. From djevelporten the view is already spectacular. An hour 30 up and 30 to 45 mins down. Overall a great hike. Lastly I m always amazed to see the odd people without a rucksack or wearing trainers. You need good walking shoes to get a proper grip.
