点评：Golfed Pebble, Spanish Bay and Spyglass as part of a trip with the NW Golf Guys organized by Travis Schoen. This has been on my bucket list for a while. The entire trip was awesome. The rooms at Spanish Bay Inn were excellent as were the food and beverage facilities. The golf lived up to the high expectations that has been created and Travis and his team made the entire trip effortless. As a bucket list trip I went all in for single bag caddies and got paired with two excellent gentleman. For Pebble and Spanish Bay I had Justin Buhler who guided me around the courses with excellent advice and great conversation. We sort of got into a groove where he just pointed to a spot on the green I was putting to and more often than not it went into the hole. Same thing for advice on the fareways and club selection. With the wind and very sloped fareways club selection could be easily 2 clubs off if you didn't have local knowledge. On the famous Pebble Beach hole 7 par 3 we debated the club for while and ended up with a 2 foot putt for birdie! For Spyglass I was paired with Trevor who also did an excellent job. I shared what worked with Justin on putting and sunk a couple of very long breaking puts under Trevor's guidance. I still can't believe I only lost two balls and only shot a little above my handicap on all three courses. Between the NW Golf Guys and all the staff at the Pebble Beach organization including cleaning, wait staff, bar tenders, retail, golf staff, valet and front desk people it was a fantastic trip and I can't wait to bring back my non-golfing wife to join me.
