Great parkland area

点评：A lovely park in this small town. There are 2 man made lakes in a natural valley with beautiful mountain views on all sides.
One lake is dedicated to fishing and the other leisure activities and swimming.
At one end is an inflatable obstacle course which is 10 euro for 30 mins or 12 for an hour.
There are also paddle boards for hire.
There is a small cafe selling drinks, ice creams and crepes near the lake.
There is also a very good changing room/toilet/shower block adjacent.
The lake is surrounded by parkland, mountain bike trails and there is a paddle board court which can be pre-booked.
There are stone sun benches dotted around and some trees for shade close to the lake.
Slightly further back there are picnic benches amongst the trees.
To make the most of it come prepared with your own umbrella and seats.
There is a seasonal pop up restaurant approximately 100m up the hill from the lake.
It has a nice atmosphere and is good for drinks. They are a little on the expensive side.
There is a small menu of fairly basic food offerings but they were all tasty.
Burgers, fish and chips (French style), salads, pasta and some tapas.
Overall a great place to spend a day.
