点评:The vibrant harbour is the heart of this working fishing town - always with lots to observe and investigate . For a start there’s usually numerous boats berthed in the marina’s inner harbour to look at. The RNLI Lifeboat Station here, is one of the oldest lifeboat stations in Scotland, and has its own slipway. Walk south past the Fishmarket Quay and visit the unique Signal Tower Museum, and West Links Seafront. Take a wander past the metal lock bridge to the outer tidal harbour where you can look back for a fabulous vista over the town. There’s a handful of good fish & chip shops clustered around the harbour, plus fish shops selling the famous Arbroath smokies. Have a stroll past quaint “Fit o’the toon” , where the Brothock Burn tumbles into the sea, and you can venture further along towards spacious Victoria Park with its sweeping sea-views. It’s a harbour I never get tired of visiting.
