点评:A quick note: I've done trail rides from Banff to Taos, Lake Tahoe to East Texas so I've seen how a lot of outfits do it and can tell you this is horse riding done in a manner I can appreciate. Horses go out once a day only, which alone should tell you how they treat their horses. The instruction given by Brian in the beginning is excellent and you'll learn the basics of how to ride properly. The ride itself is scenic along a canal next to beautiful rock formations going out, and more along a trail closer to the basalt rock canyon returning. A bit of trotting throughout makes the experience not just a stale pony ride. If you care only for your ride time and expect this to be like an amusement park attraction, where the horses are the ride, ready to take out a line of tourists one after another, you're mistaken. If you want to appreciate the area's beauty, and ride along with a horseman who cares about his animals and is earnest in giving you instruction, you'll love it. I highly recommend and plan on returning when I'm back in the area. Final note: Brian and Melanie, and their assistant Tyler, were all extremely kind and gracious.
