Sri Lanka Knuckles Trekking的点评
点评：We have just finished the 3 day Knuckles trek and it really was a spectacular Sri Lankan jungle experience. We stayed one night at the jungle campsite which was great, clean and dry tent, eating/kitchen area and even a bathroom. The campsite has a spring running through it with clean drinking water. Everything here is very eco and with a leave-no-trace mindset. (And no mozzies!) The second night we stayed at a home in a small village. We had our own private room with bathroom and were very comfortable. The food provided by the family and all along the hikes was exceptional. The hiking itself was magical with rain forests and waterfalls, summiting the highest peak, scrambling up rocks and under bamboo arches, through valleys and tiny villages. There are leeches but Hema provides leech socks to protect you and the team are very vigilant at spraying your legs with leech oil. Hema is very knowledgeable and loves to tell you all about the landscape and wildlife - he is a wealth of information. His porters are also very lovely (often leading us with bare feet!) and also great cooks!. We had his brother Jagget guide us for our third day and he was also super lovely and helpful.
We are both pretty fit and used to hiking - we found this to be a fun and at times challenging hike - but never too difficult.
