Our favorite beach visited so far!
Magazine Beach的点评
点评：We don’t usually purchase excursions directly through the cruise line but this was a Journeys cruise and we wanted to relax and have our day be Carnival’s responsibility and we are so glad we did. The shore adventures team does an excellent job at these less visited ports of directing guests exactly where they need to go so it was very easy to find our group right as we got off the ship.
Our host/guide, Warren, was incredible. I can’t remember our driver’s name but I was so impressed by not just his driving skills on an island but he was equally helpful getting folks off and on the van and answering questions.
After a 15 minute ride we arrived at Magazine Beach. When we first got there I thought it was an average spot but I quickly realized we were just in the parking lot. The beach area with chairs is about a 5-7 minute walk but completely worth it. The beach area is very shaded by palms and mangroves but there’s also plenty of space to get sun. There is a bar/restaurant that is connected to the resort but you will not have access to the resort itself, just the bar/restaurant area and restrooms.
The beach was hands down my favorite beach I’ve been to anywhere in the world. The 2.5 vans from Carnival were the only people there so it was not crowded at all. It was quiet and felt like we were on a private beach. The sand was very white, fine/soft, and extremely clean. It wasn’t very rocky but there were large rocks in the sand near where the surf breaks.
On the day we visited the surf was strong/rough/high but there was no undertow/current pulling you back out. We travel with small floats and we were thankful to have had them. As pretty fit people, my husband and I struggled a little getting in and out but there were plenty of people older/less fit in the water and doing fine.
It was truly my favorite beach day we’ve had in 12+ cruises and we can’t wait to go back.

我们去的那天，海浪很猛/很汹涌/很高，但没有暗流/水流把你拉回来。我们带着小浮漂旅行，很庆幸有它们。作为身体相当健康的人，我和我的丈夫进出时有点吃力，但有很多年纪大/身体不太健康的人在水中，他们表现得很好。
这确实是我们在 12 次以上巡游中度过的我最喜欢的海滩日，我们迫不及待地想回去。
