点评：Area has opportunity to be stunning but suffers from a lack of investment.
Promenade could be so much better but at least it's clean looking however the town itself is awful - run down, dirty and streets covered in litter. Shame on the council letting its residents downand the opportunity to attract business and visitors. I appreciate lots of business's have closed ue tovthe economic situation but the empty shops are an absolute eyesore. Come on Ayreshire council get involved in simply washing down the shop fronts, the talking litter bins are a gimmick and a waste of money, which could be better spent on a street cleaner or encouraging/enforcing the likes of Greggs to encourage customers to put their wrappings in a bin or taking it home with them (much of the litter was empty Greggs food bags and wrappers)
The only positive was David's Snack Bar on a car park just on the outskirts - serving really lovely breakfast baps, burgers and other snacky foods.
