点评：We had a good stop at the Römerberg during a self guided walking tour of Frankfurt. There are lots of noteworthy sights here including the town hall, St. Nicholas Church and the Fountain of Justice. There are many half timbered buildings in the area and most of them are restored since WWII. Nearby there are some museums and we would recommend the Historical Museum Frankfurt because it goes through the city's history. The Frankfurt Cathedral is a short walk away from here as well.
We spent a couple of hours in the area and would spend more if we chose to eat here or if there was a market in the area. When we visited the Town Hall was closed but the attached visitor's center was open. The closest U-Bahn station is Römer and there is a tram station that goes by the same name as well.
