点评:Busy market, that extends into side streets.
Some accepted cash, others card only.
I found this market to be very expensive, aimed at tourists who flock to this area.
We were staying in the village. We bought veal and pork from an artisan stall which was very expensive, but we reckoned would be good. I can cook and the meat was tough as old boots, and not particularly tasty. The veg we bought was lovely, defo just out of the ground, but again, very expensive.
Be CAREFUL at the nougat stall....my partner asked for a half slice, but they refused and it ended up being €78 for a bit of orange and a bit of coffee....buyers beware.
Another thing....the outskirts stalls are cheaper than the ones in the centre of the village, so shop around.
As it was, it does have that gorgeous French feel to it and a nice experience.
