Balnarring Beach的点评
点评：Waking up in Balnarring meant I had the opportunity to make my way to its beach... whilst driving there I admit I was a bit befuddled driving through the residential area ...but then quickly realised that I had been missing signage to the beach... you will literally drive to the end of a residential court and make your way to the beach from there.
I started early and the day was already warm... I slipped my sandals off after following the sandy path to the beach and lay them in the dunes. My skirt was dancing around my legs with a light breeze as I stepped out towards the water. The cloudy background above the calm sea was visually inviting, as well as sensory. I could feel the sand shifting under my bare feet.
There were people on the beach but all of them focused on just 'being'... focused on enjoying their individual activities.
Looking out to the water, it was a tad ominous with puffy dark clouds... and yet, I found that rather enchanting... romantic and a little bit dangerous. The water was cool as I stepped into it, lifting my skirt to ensure it remained dry. The water was clear and you could see the remnants of sea grasses and sometimes coral.
Following the waters edge and enjoying my walk, I noted the ground littered with gifts from the sea...that would shift over the day as the water's edge found them and returned them to the depths.
By the time I returned to my car, I felt like I had been visiting a zen retreat.
