Deadlocked Escape Rooms的点评
点评：What the owners do brilliantly at Dwadloxked is immerse you in the game from the offer utilising their premier acting skills (both owners are also accomplished actors in their own right). It was a great intro with interactive elements.
We happened to have very good timing as this game was brand new and we was one of the first 5 teams to play. That likely means that the game will have changed some from when we played and a good chance or nah have been less scary which is a be for to us as my daughter (the brains) mind goes to mush when scared and then it’s down to me which is never a good idea.
It’s also one of the rare longer games in the Uk whereas the standards is 60 minutes this is a 2 hour epic adventure and I have a feeling from memory we may have gone over that time. But as mentioned when a game is new it is in calibration stage.
I also think from memory it’s based on a real local legend about the Reading Witch which gives it an extra appeal specially for history buffs.
With 2 people sometimes it’s a real advantage as it’s not a case of too many cooks but you do also sometimes lack that breadth of skills/knowledge/eyes/ears of a bit larger group so I think overall we did well but some occasions we didn’t stumble and get stuck and perhaps should have asked for a clue a bit earlier. You do want to give it a good college try and sometimes specially me you can be a bit dense and miss something obvious.
It’s a nice big space they have made good use of and nice to have a longer games to sink our teeth into. I can imagine how with a live actor that would have cranked up the tension/scare factor and our 2 hours may have been 4 :).
Well worth a visit from one of UK’s top tier games designers and I recommend their online games (even if it’s not Covid)

他们充分利用了宽敞的空间，很高兴能有更长的游戏时间让我们沉浸其中。我可以想象，如果有真人演员，紧张/恐惧感会有多强烈，我们的2个小时可能就玩了4个小时 :)。
