点评：What an exceptional way to finish my trip to the Mornington Peninsula... to wake up on my last day and go for a stroll along Shoreham Beach. Known as a peaceful escape, it is less commercialised than other Peninsula beaches, offering a "hidden gem" experience.
It is a serene, 700-meter-long coastal retreat facing east toward Phillip Island. Characterised by a sheltered shoreline, rocky outcrops, and a natural, pine-lined foreshore, it provides a quiet, family-friendly atmosphere. It is ideal for calm swimming, exploring rocky bays, and taking coastal walks near the mouth of Stony Creek.
The beach features a wide sandy stretch at mid-to-high tide, bordered by a grassy foreshore reserve with picnic areas and historic pines planted in the early 20th century.
The area transforms from rocky shoreline to sandy stretches, perfect for exploring, especially around the mouth of Stony Creek.
It is important to note that the beach has no surf lifesavers and is subject to changing tidal conditions, with extensive reef flats exposed at low tide.
