点评：the RT hike from Rifugio Auronzo oute will take 2h with stops. trailhead is at Rifugio Auronzo. take trail #117 (Sentiero Bonacossa) to the direction of Rifugio Col de Varda
parking onsite is now by online reservation. make sure you select your desired time entry (car plate is used as ID) and pay 40e for 12h parking before coming. this is probably one of the most expensive parking fees in Dolomites.
supposedly, this site is made famous by instagram. there is a headland jutting out towards the dramatic jagged peaks and that is where everyone and their dog want to have their photo taken with their two limbs in air. in June, the line has 10-15 ppl waiting in midday. I dont know how long it takes to reach your turn since I am not interested in the photo op, but what I can say is people are taking their sweet time to and from the headland
unbeknownst to these folks, there is another headland if you continue walking another 5-10 mmin. oh well, I was all alone there and it is peaceful
