The softplay was vastly oversubscribed

点评：We booked to use the softplay in the afternoon and when we arrived, we took one look at how rammed it was and made the immediate decision it was unsafe for our 3.5 year old (who likes to follow big sister around) to use. I’ve never seen such a busy softplay in my life before - my 7 year old may have gotten on better but really only the most boisterous kids would thrive in that environment.
I realise it’s the school holidays and therefore peak time, but I can’t think that the cap on numbers was right. There wasn’t a single table free for adults to sit at, and some parents hovering around hoping for one to come up.
This would be easily solved by fixed play sessions - if your intake is every two hours, revolve the customers every session so it’s fair and safe for everyone. Instead, when we mentioned concerns to the staff they said there were a number more still coming in for our slot.
The member of staff we spoke to was helpful and arranged a refund for us, which I’m grateful for.
