The Salamanca Whiskey Bar的点评
点评：We have been here previously a few years ago and had a good time, so we decided to come back again for our last night in Hobart. Unfortunately the service has really gone downhill, everywhere else we went in Hobart the service was amazing, so it was quite disappointing to experience that here- although having now seen some other similar reviews I can see it wasn't a one off event.
They say that they pride themselves on not using premixes in their cocktails, yet they were unable to make a simple swap from whisky for vodka in an espresso martini - as they don't make changes to anything on their menu. However they had on the menu a chocolate cake with whisky sauce- but there was no whisky sauce (despite them having hundreds of whiskeys available), so it seems only the customer is unable to make change to items on the menu.
We had one of the cakes, while the cake itself was nice enough, the berries served with it were all old and dried up.
We will never go back and would not recommend this bar to anyone. There are plenty of other really lovely places with much better service.
