Filibuster Distillery的点评
点评：We were visiting the area and wanted to check this place out based on mostly positive reviews. A few family members also love whiskey so we planned on getting a few bottles as gifts. We went into the tasting room and sat at the bar. Another couple was part way through their flight at the bar and a table of about six was being served. The bartender was a man in suspenders who kept making jokes about how he was slow and would be with us soon. He didn’t even give us menus, so we got our own and waited. And waited. A group of three came in and they had to bring more chairs in for them. The bartender inexplicably waited on them before us, they had a flight in front of them while we continued to wait. At one point, the bartender said he’d be with soon (for the 5th time) and that he didn’t want us to leave on him. But still, he didn’t take our order. Then, he asked the couple next to us if they needed anything else. His manager/maybe the owner came in and asked if he needed help. He said he did not…while we continued to sit there as he waited on the group who had come in after us. So, we got up and left. It was a very bizarre experience. I’m not sure why he didn’t wait on customers in the order in which they arrived, or tell the manager we’d been waiting and allow him to help us instead of continue to make us wait, but by that point, we’d grown tired of his continued bad jokes and left to go yo a nearby winery where we received much better service.
