点评:Off season the course is not as in the photo, but a golden brown. We played on March 24th. The only thing green was the greens, and they were pretty good. It is a challenging but not impossible course. Quite the experience. A nice drive after the fast train through a smaller town and countryside. Unusual rules of having lunch at the turn so expect a good 6 hour round. Great food and the typical so nice Japanese service. But the only thing, the pace of play is soooooo slow. We were locked in behind three foursomes that liked to play slow, so we ended up quitting after 13 holes and about 4 1/2 hours. That was still a long day as we had to be on the first train at 6:15 am and did not get back to Tokyo until well after dark. But, again, a great experience that I would recommend. If I was to go again, maybe, I would ask that for a gap in tee times and not behind local club members trying hard to make an 6 hour round out of it. We hired a cart and caddy for each of us but got one double cart, and one caddy but were charged the caddy fee twice as they said, "yes, the caddy took care of both of you". But whatever, it was an extra 8000 yen, not a big deal.
