£100 fine upheld after 4 months of appealing even though we paid for parking! Now warning us with court proceedings

点评：I echo what everyone else has said about the car park. Landed up with a £100 fine for "failing to pay within 15 minutes of arriving". The card machine was not working, couldn't get app to work, tried to phone but couldn't hear the operator. I was 20p too short to pay cash because the machine didn't take £2 coins. A kind couple gave me the 20p so I did actually buy a ticket in the end and leave within the time frame but for the fine for not paying quickly enough. It took me 23 minutes to pay for parking but not for want of trying. We have spent the last four months appealing this but have now been told the £100 fine is upheld and we have to pay or court action will be involved. We can't afford a £100 fine, especially when it is completely unjust. The car park operators, and Popla (the "third party" appeal agency) are criminal. I would avoid this place like the plague which is such a shame as the beach is beautiful and my family have many happy memories there. But sadly will never return.
