点评:I brought my whole family on a day trip down from Tokyo. Easily accessible by train. The shopping and restaurants by the train station were fun. We walked from there down to the beach. It was July, so it was nice to get away from the heat a little. There is a little park here where the kids could play. I first came to Japan years ago when there were still garbage cans around. Now you can't find one anywhere. We were traveling with three grandkids, all still in diapers, and we couldn't find a garbage can to save our lives, even in the restrooms. I felt this was unnecessarily punishing us for traveling with children. There are so many things I love about Japan. No garbage cans and this dirty, gray sand beach are not two of them. Did get some cute pictures of my granddaughter's toes in the sand, though.
