点评：I had the pleasure of spending three days in Yogyakarta with Wawan from Wawan JogjaDriverTeam, and I couldn’t have asked for a better guide and driver. From the very beginning, Wawan was reliable, professional, and incredibly friendly, making the trip feel relaxed and enjoyable.
As a photographer, timing and local insight are everything, and Wawan truly delivered. On our first day, he arranged an early start for Borobudur Temple, allowing me to capture the morning light and avoid most of the crowds. His knowledge of the best angles and quiet spots made the experience even more rewarding.
The next day, we headed up to Nepal Van Java, a stunning mountain village with terraced hillsides and breathtaking views of Mount Sumbing. On the way, Wawan recommended a stop at the lesser-known Selogriyo Temple, a peaceful and photogenic spot surrounded by rice fields. It ended up being one of my favorite locations of the trip.
Back in Yogyakarta city, Wawan showed me highlights I might have missed on my own, from hidden gems in the bustling Malioboro area to local food spots and cultural experiences. He always knew when and where to be, helping me maximize my photography opportunities.
