The safari itself was a truly memorable experience — stunning landscapes, abundant wildlife sightings, knowledgeable guides, and a well-organized itinerary made it a trip to remember. However, the overall experience was significantly overshadowed by serious issues with communication, travel arrangements, and lack of accountability when problems arose.
We encountered flight disruptions, some of which were due to our own initial mistake. That said, , Sima Safari, took on the responsibility of managing the revised travel plans — but unfortunately, this only led to further complications, including additional flight disruptions and considerable extra costs.
Upon returning home, we reached out to Sima Safari to discuss reimbursement for the extra flight expenses. Disappointingly, they became entirely unresponsive at that point — ignoring phone calls, emails, and WhatsApp messages, with no effort made to resolve the issue or even acknowledge our concerns.
Most frustrating of all, the company still owes us a refund for the additional flight costs, and despite multiple follow-ups, we have yet to receive any communication or resolution.
While the safari experience itself was good, we cannot recommend this company due to their lack of responsiveness and poor handling of post-trip issues. A great trip can quickly become stressful without a responsible and reliable travel partner.
