There are Much Better Ways to Spend Your Time in Denver

点评：Most days you need to show up early in the morning to get in line for the free tour tickets. The mint has people that walk the line and tell you which tour times still have spots. This is a very helpful service.
Once you secure tickets, you will need to return to get in line before the time your tour starts. There is a trip through security and a significant wait for everyone else on the tour to go through the security. You really can't take much in with you.
Once on the tour, there is a series of videos, talks, and spots in which you can wander around and look at displays. Most of the displays are absent explanation. Some tour guides will help explain and some will not.
For all of the hassle to get tickets and stand in multiple lines I found this attraction to be very unfulfilling. If you are a coin collector maybe this is a bigger thrill. I wouldn't return to this attraction, nor recommend it to visitors to Denver. There are much better ways to spend your time in this city.
