点评:First, we went slightly in the offseason on a Tuesday and the line was out the door for tickets. We got there around 10am and the only tours left were limited 1:30pm and 3pm so our suggestion is to take the 7am will call line seriously for peak time. Second, there are limited things you can bring with you. Make sure you read items that are permitted. They will turn you away as there is an extensive screening process including having your cell phone off and stored in your pocket the entire tour. With that being said, the tour was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Sue did a great job explaining the minting process and the history of the building and how the mint came to be. Something that you will have to see for yourself because shh it’s top secret. No photography or phones allowed.
