点评：I just completed a two-week paragliding course in Teba, and it's easily one of the most gratifying learning experiences I've had.
Alejandro and Carina are outstanding instructors — knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely invested in each student's progress. What stood out most was their individualised approach: they read where you are, adapt their coaching accordingly, and move at a pace that builds real confidence rather than just ticking boxes. Their patience, across varying skill levels and conditions, never wavered.
The school has access to four different flying sites around Teba, which makes a real difference. Each site offers a distinct experience — different terrain, exposure, and character — and the variety keeps the learning rich throughout the course. It also means that when wind or weather make one site unflyable, there's almost always a viable alternative. Over two weeks, we barely lost a session, which says a lot about how well the school is set up. Hats off to the indefatigable team for keeping the longer drives always cheery!
Beyond the technical side, there's a real club spirit here. The camaraderie that exists between the members and that develops between students feels natural and genuine, and after a few flights the students really feel they have become a part of the community.
Most importantly, I came away with a true understanding of and appreciation for free flight — not just the mechanics, but also the sensations and the community around it.
If you're looking for a serious, caring, and well-organised paragliding school, Air Born in Teba is hard to beat.
