点评：We visited the zoo on a snowy day, which meant some animals were not viewable, but others were even more visible than I'd normally expect. Due to recent snowfall, about half of the zoo was closed off (I think the walkways were unsafe). But, the cooler temperatures meant a lot of the animals were active. Some, like the elephants and giraffes, were in their indoor area, but we were able to get right up close to them in that area (giraffes are tall!). And others like the penguins were out enjoying the cool weather. I was especially excited by their tiger area, which was large. The tigers were moving around instead of napping in the (non-existent) heat of the day. It was great to see them walking around near us and spending time outdoors. I'd love to go back and visit on another day to see the parts of the zoo that weren't available, but we enjoyed our visit.
