Denver Zoo的点评
点评：We enjoyed our visit to the Zoo today! There was a bit of a line to get in, but it moved. Parking was super difficult on a Sat morning. We got lucky, but definitely add in time to find parking.
The Zoo itself is flat & easy to navigate. Some areas are well shaded & others aren’t. On a 70’s day, it got warm quickly.
We loved the variety of primates! We also enjoyed how close you could be to the Elephants. Most enclosures were good, but the hippo enclosure made me sad. Hopefully that’s next on the list to renovate.
There is a lot of construction happening, but it was all gated off and didn’t distract us.
We just ate pretzels from a stand. There was a variety of food and maybe I didn’t understand the map well, but we were hungry & confused at times.
If you’re in Denver, the Zoo is worth a visit! The best Zoo in the area is the Cheyenne mountain Zoo, but it’s a lot of uphill walking whereas Denver is flat.
